Indieguerillas consists of Sant Ariestyowanti and Miko Bawano, an Indonesian artist couple based in Yogyakarta. The duo’s graffiti- and cartoon-inspired paintings, prints and installations often fuse pop-culture iconograph and street art with traditional characters from wayang, the shadow-puppet theater of Indonesia. In may, their most recent works were shown in “Happy Victims” at Valentine Willie Fine Art in Singapore.
