In celebration of ArtAsiaPacific’s 25th anniversary in 2018, we invited four artists and artist collectives—Au Hoi Lam, Kunié Sugiura, Pio Abad and Slavs and Tatars—to collaborate on a series of exclusive totebags.
Kunié Sugiura is a New York-based, Japanese photographer whose practice probes the boundaries of image. In her chosen medium, the photogram, she carves out silhouettes of flora, people and animals—her subjects have included Jasper Johns, Takashi Murakami and Yayoi Kusama.
Kunié Sugiura’s totebag is printed with hot stamping and measures 33.5 × 40.5 cm, handles 48 cm, 8.5 cm gusset.
